Auditions Breakdown

  • For those individuals auditioning for a Lead Role: Select a monologue (several are suggested on our website) of your choice from those suggested or one from another source. Select a short song or cutting from a song that fits the vocal style of the role you are auditioning for.

  • Dress to move. Our choreographer will teach every auditionee a short dance from the show. We request that you do not wear baggy clothing, as this hinders our ability to spot body positioning and technique. Wear shoes that do not fall off of your feet when dancing. Please refrain from wearing heavy winter flipflops, boots.

Our Artistic Director will provide you with both aural and written feedback and answer any questions you may have about the audition process. They will also explain what directors look for in an audition and how that will vary from show to show and character to character.

   Volunteer Fee

Each youth performer's family is required to submit a volunteer check of $400 (FULLY REFUNDABLE) for the first child, and $25 per each additional child, no later than the first rehearsal. Actors will not receive a script, or schedule, without a volunteer check deposit.
